Today is Dewali, the Festival of Lights in India. In the morning I went for jogging at our TIFR sea face. There I found this parrots lost in the midst of colors, eating the seed of those flowers. I suddenly decided to bring the camera from our lab, though I was not sure wether the parrot would wait that long. But I ran to our lab and brought the camera. The bird was still there, how lucky I am. I took this picture from a very close distance with 18X optical zoom applied.
